11/24/05 SCULPTING AGAIN

The main problem with auctions being removed is that it results in such a loss of productive time. Apparently, eBay sends an email to all who bid on the item informing them that eBay policy was violated. This results in many emails from past and present bidders wanting to know what the violation was, and those who don't write may fear the seller did a serious violation (rather than miscorrect wording, see-through clothes, etc.) and all concerns must be addressed.

Other sellers and confused eBayers also write, so a website becomes a necessity to post information, which takes even more time! I received an email from someone who was watching an auction of an exquisite Wendy Froud original sculpture very closely (she sculpted Yoda, worked on Jimmy Henson muppets, created Kira of Dark Crystal). The sculpture was also ended early because of bare breasts. So, even creations of the very famous are not being spared. Hopefully, with more detailed pictures being posted on my website instead of eBay, I can resume work on the merman whose head has been on my table for days...
